Emma has been coaching Agile teams and leaders as a boutique Agile consultancy since 2011, and began supporting teams of teams as they explored SAFe concepts in 2016. Her support for the launch of a release train for a Telco client in 2018 prompted her to become an SPC in 2019. Since then Emma has been supporting her clients to adopt SAFe principles through coaching and SAFe workshop facilitation.
Emma started her working life in the Royal Australian Navy as a Maritime Warfare Officer, leaving behind the bridge of a ship for a career in project and program management, that spanned over 15 years and roles in Australia and the UK in banking, transport, media and government. Emma draws upon this experience and her passion for Lean Agile values and principles to add colour and flavour to the SAFe learning experience.
